How to make delicious V60 coffee.

Coffee Used: Royal Parade Blend.

Apply 6g of coffee to every 100ml of water.

In our demonstration, we are using 24g of coffee and 400ml of water.

Serves 2.

Tip – Boil filtered water in kettle. When kettle completes boil, let water sit for approximately 45 seconds to achieve a temperature between 93 - 96 degrees celcius.

1. Place your paper filter into the V60 cone.

2. Rinse your paper filter by gently pouring hot water over it. This gets rid of the papery taste as well as warming up your server.

3. Empty the water and place the server and v60 on the scales.

4. Add 24g freshly ground coffee (medium in size) to the V60.

5. Gently tap V60 cone to level out coffee. This helps rid of any air pockets too.

6. Tare your scales.

7. Start your timer as you begin to gently pour 75gm of hot water in a circular motion.

8. Wait 45 seconds.

9. Pour the rest of your water (325g) in a circular motion. Let it drip through.

10. Total brew time should be between 2:30 – 3:00 minutes. If it's not within this time frame you will need to adjust your grind setting accordingly.

If your brew time exceeds 3:00 minutes, make your grind slightly coarser.

If your brew time is less than 2:30, make your grind slightly finer.

11. Remove V60 cone. 

12. Put diffuser on server, serve & enjoy.
